The www.civs.gouv.fr website is the information site of the CIVS (Commission for the Compensation of Victims of Spoliation Resulting from the Anti-Semitic Legislation in Force during the Occupation).
The purpose of this website is to inform claimants on the steps to take with the CIVS in order to file a case file for the spoliations that they have suffered or of which their family was a victim. In general, the purpose of this site is to provide the general public with explanations on one of the sections in the French reparation policy.
