Submitted to the Prime Minister in application of article 16 of decree n ° 2024-11 of January 5, 2024, the CIVS activity report traces the activities carried out during the year 2024, marked by the entry into force, on February 1, 2024, of the law of July 22, 2023 relating to the restitution of cultural goods which were the subject of spoliations in the context of anti-Semitic persecutions perpetrated between 1933 and 1945.

This report presents some key figures for the activity of the commission. He describes the course followed by a request addressed to the CIVS, by giving the floor to the applicants, the members of the deliberative college, the magistrates and the agents. He returns to the restitutions of cultural goods carried out in 2024, by giving the floor to the partners who take part. He underlines the international action of the CIVS, which chairs the European network of return commissions. Finally, he evokes the events and memory activities that mobilized the Commission in 2024.
