The Jewish Digital Cultural Recovery Project (JDCRP) has just launched its pilot project dedicated to the Adolphe Schloss collection, spoliated in 1943.
The JDCRP project ‘s goal is a database of Jewish cultural property looted as a result of National Socialism. This objective is fully in line with the Washington Principles which, as early as 1998, called for the establishment of a central database.
The pilot project is the starting point for the creation of a comprehensive database to bring together the objects and works of art spoliated by the Nazis and their collaborators. The CIVS is a partner in this project, supported by the European Union.
